So, I've been listening to this (a lot) since I like it (a lot) and I
realized something you might want to change.

Dog people would never refer to their dog as "it."  Unless you think
it's important to stick with "it" for some reason, I think you should
change it to "him" or "her."

PS - Of course, maybe you should do that for the goldfish instead, and
leave the dog an "it."  Surrealism might demand it.
